TE Air Handheld Ultrasound Warranty and Service Policy
1. Warranty Coverage:
Mindray warrants that the TE Air handheld ultrasound device (the "Product") shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twelve (12) months from the activation date (if the product is not activated within thirty (30) days, the delivery date shall be considered the warranty start date.). This warranty excludes consumable items, including, but not limited to, the Air Capsule. Consumable items are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of six (6) months from the date of delivery.
2. Planned Maintenance:
Planned maintenance is not required for the TE Air handheld ultrasound. Mindray shall provide remote technical support as necessary.
3. Software:
The software provided with the Product shall be the latest version of the standard software available for the Product as of the ninetieth (90th) day prior to the delivery date. Updates to the standard software that do not require additional hardware or equipment modifications shall be performed as part of normal warranty service during the warranty period. All software remains the sole property of Mindray or its software suppliers and shall be available via the Google Play Store and Apple Store.
4. Limitation of Liability:
Mindray shall not be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential loss, damage, or expense directly or indirectly arising from the use of its products. The liability under this warranty and the buyer’s exclusive remedy shall be limited to servicing or replacing, at Mindray’s option, any product which, under normal use, is found to be defective in material or workmanship.
5. Exclusions:
No agent, employee, or representative of Mindray (UK) Limited has the authority to bind Mindray to any affirmation, representation, or warranty concerning its products. Any such affirmation, representation, or warranty made by any agent, employee, or representative shall not be enforceable by the buyer. This warranty is in lieu of any other expressed or implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, non-standard accessory attachment, or customer modifications shall void this warranty. Mindray makes no warranty regarding trade accessories, which are subject to the warranty of their respective manufacturers.
6. Return Procedure:
A condition of this warranty is that any equipment or accessories claimed to be defective must be returned, when authorized by Mindray, freight prepaid to Mindray (UK) Limited, Mindray House, Kingfisher Way, Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 6FN, United Kingdom. Mindray (UK) Limited shall not be responsible for loss or damage in transit.
7. Return and Exchange Policy:
Mindray does not support return or exchange services for the TE Air series. However, Mindray shall provide replacement and maintenance services in the event of a failure.
8. Receipt of Goods:
The buyer must inspect the goods prior to signing for them. In the event of damage during transportation, including missing accessories, delivery errors, or package damage, the buyer shall refuse to sign, take photographs as evidence, and contact our after-sales service center.
9. Product Activation:
The buyer must activate the product according to the provided guidelines within thirty (30) days of receipt. The warranty start date shall be the activation date. If the product is not activated within thirty (30) days, the delivery date shall be considered the warranty start date.
10. Extended Warranty:
The standard warranty period is twelve (12) months. Customers may purchase extended warranty services for the TE Air series. During the warranty period, Mindray shall provide professional service.
11. Warranty Conditions:
Mindray warrants failures caused by product quality issues. Failures due to accidents, water damage, improper chargers, or other user-caused issues shall not be covered under this warranty.
12. Replacement and Maintenance Fees:
- Return shipping cost for old products: Buyer's responsibility.
- Return shipping cost for replacement products: Seller's responsibility.
13. Service Procedure:
Step 1: The buyer must email our customer service representative at UKService@mindray.com to request repair service. Accurate contact information and address must be provided.
Step 2: Our representative shall guide the buyer to determine the fault and resolve the issue via phone or email. If a replacement is needed, instructions and the replacement address shall be provided. The buyer must follow these instructions and include photographs of the issue.
Step 3: Mindray shall inspect the product at our designated repair center and send a replacement TE Air within five (5) working days to the provided address. The buyer must inspect the goods upon receipt.
Step 4: The buyer must activate the replacement TE Air as soon as possible. The warranty period shall be extended accordingly.
